Aller Park Rangers Football Club was formed by Steve Morrison in November 2004 at the Aller Village Playing Field with eight U7s, who came mainly from High Ham Primary School.
The original 8 players were:-
Will Morrison, Alex Long, Dan Ryan, Lewis Greenwood-King, Jack Wilkins, Jamie Knight, Jesse Stilling and Robert Murray.
Over the following weeks more players came to join the new club and by the end of the first season the club had a total of 36 players from U7s to U5s, including Jack Lyons, Charlie Stamp, Robbie Haggett, Will Rowe, Levi Simpson, Henry Mumford & Jake Grant.
Dan Ryan became the first ever player to score a goal for Aller Park Juniors in their first ever tournament at Wessex in November 2004.
Due to the success of the new club it quickly outgrew the Aller Playing Field and in 2005 moved to Wagg Drove courtesy of local farmer, Rob Martin. Then at the start of 2006-7 season the club moved to their current base at Somerton Sports Field.
The Club achieved the coveted FA Charter Standard award within three months of being formed and in 2010 was awarded the higher level Development Club award.
In 2008 the Club held their first annual tournament, The Aller Park Cup, and it has gone on to become one of the biggest tournaments in Somerset with 116 teams entered in 2011.
Today the club has over 200 players from U5s - U14s, including a Girls only team, and has two Men's teams and a Ladies team. It has quickly become an important part of the local community and players from all around Somerton, Langport and surrounding villages now play for Aller Park.
The Club has a development plan to continue to offer football coaching and matches for all players, boys and girls, from U5s up to Adult football.
