The role of the Club Welfare Officer (CWO) is to:
To be clear about the clubs responsibilities when running activities for children and young people, ensuring club officials and volunteers undertake their roles demonstrating good practice.
Aller Park embraces the RESPECT campaign of aiming to change any negative attitudes and unacceptable behaviour on the sidelines and the pitch.
My role of CWO will be to consistently promote these messages to coaches, volunteers and parents to ensure the boys and girls who play for Aller Park enjoy their football within an environment where good practice is promoted and poor practice is challenged.
As the CWO I would be involved in dealing with poor practice both within our own club, and other clubs we visit to play our football.
